with Keith Lockhart
A Classical Special Concert

Keith Lockhart, conductor
Johannes Moser, cello

Renowned Boston Pops conductor Keith Lockhart makes his San Diego Symphony Orchestra debut for two very special performances saluting master movie composer John Williams. Acclaimed cellist Johannes Moser joins Mr. Lockhart to perform a suite from Willliams' Memoirs of a Geisha in a program that also includes selections from movie favorites such as Harry Potter, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Star Wars and more!

Mr. Lockhart and Mr. Moser will be donating their services in support of keeping classical music thriving in San Diego! In this spirit, please be aware that several third-party online outlets are currently offering tickets to these concerts at a significant price markup. The San Diego Symphony will not accept any third party-printed tickets for admission!

It is with deep regret that the San Diego Symphony must announce John Williams' withdrawal from conducting the special concerts scheduled with the Orchestra for this weekend's concerts at the Jacobs Music Center.

Having led the San Diego Symphony twice in recent years, Maestro Williams has such deep respect for this orchestra and the San Diego audiences. He very much regrets not being able to lead these concerts but must withdraw due to a temporary minor health issue. The scheduled program will remain the same.
