A Fox Theatre Film Series Presentation

Russ Peck, organ

German expressionist director Fritz Lang’s colossal Silent Era sci-fi masterpiece Metropolis is timelier than ever, with its depiction of class struggle and the dangers of society’s servitude to technology. Organist Russ Peck accompanies this involving, dramatic work on the mighty Fox Theatre Pipe Organ in its latest, most complete version released in 2010. Film is free for Fox Theatre Film Series subscribers!

*San Diego Symphony Orchestra does not appear as part of this presentation. Note: this film, though from the Silent Era, may not be appropriate for young children.
