A Family Concert

Sameer Patel, conductor
Vanessa Dinning, narrator
Dr. Victor Minces (University of California, San Diego)
Jackie Valentine (Fleet Science Center)

We bet you didn’t think a scientist and a musician had anything in common, but there’s science in music and beauty in science. Children will put on their scientist’s goggles and take a closer look at the DNA of music and how music moves us. Goggles not included, but imagination is required for this performance!

Our special guests are Victor Minces, PhD., Research Scientist at the Department of Cognitive Science at the University of California, San Diego, and Jackie Valentine, Exhibits Experience Lead at the Fleet Science Center.
